Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Kimmy Jarvis, I graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in industrial Design under the College of Architecture and Design. For as long as I can remember I’ve had a passion for all things design, art and music. During the summer of 2017 I was lucky enough to be in the top 45 out of 90 people that were accepted into the Industrial Design Program. Since then, I’ve learned the skills necessary to bring a design to life. I have experience in Fusion 360, Solid Works, Adobe, Prototyping and fabrication, Sketchbook Pro, hand sketching and marker rendering, plus more. I’ve had the opportunity to be in studios sponsored by companies such as Smuckers, Airbus, Aptar + CSP, MusiKraft, and independent clients. Since graduating, I’ve had several freelance projects, including some of my own I’ve always dreamed of accomplishing.
I was born in Houston, Texas and raised on the Georgia / Alabama line in the small town of Lanett, Alabama. I am looking forward to joining other Design professionals in my field and I’m always looking to learn new skills. I love music of ALL genres, Quentin Tarantino movies, Chicago pizza, and my dog Eddie. While receiving my Bachelor Degree in Industrial design I’ve also traveled the country, met some of the most amazing people, worked at one of the Top 5 restaurants in Auburn, Alabama, and discovered who I am and what I’m passionate about. Some of my biggest inspirations are Frank Lloyd Wright, nature, Retrofuturism, and the city of Chicago.
